My french napoleonic army.

I am painting a french and an austrian army for the battles from about1798 to 1809. I know for the purist that the uniforms changed during the period. But since it is my army and i am painting it, i have decided i can live with that.
They are 28mm. And fun to paint. I like the revolutionary battles and i like the war of 1809. And i am not going to paint two armies  af each.
They ar more fun tp paint for my old eyes, than 15 mm. And affordable since most of it can be boutgh in plastic. Just like the old days of minifigs and airfix..
 Here are the french infantry:
21  line battallions of 4 bases of 4 figures. Perfect for the piquet series of rules and for my own rules. And Since the french are in 6 companies. There is a company colour pompom on the four figureson a base, so that you can put 6 bases of a different colour if you wish. I just like the variety in colours, so call me a barbarian.

Here they are in a bit brownish picture.

There are also thre battalions of ligth infantry in 1798 uniform.
And waiting to be painted are 10 pieces of artillery with crew.
Perhaps tomorrow i will try to line up my austrians.
So if anybody wants a battle. The terrain, figures and rules are nearly ready.
Wagram anyone?
